Edison Ellis was used to being given the world on a platter. The son of Charlotte banking magnate Gibson Ellis the younger Ellis never wanted for much in his formative years.
Around the time Edison was in middle school his father invested a great deal into a left over National Wrestling Alliance affiliate Southern Premier Wrestling. Taking control of the promotion Gibson Ellis and his booking committee turned a dying territory into a regional sensation. Seeing his father’s success Edison caught the wrestling bug and chose to put his natural athleticism to work.
Ellis trained with Michael Maverick and Simon Sullivan under the tutelage of Dog Bite Deveruex and Tiger Man McCool. Over time Ellis proved be an intelligent and calculating wrestler in order to make up for his obvious lack of power. When Ellis was brought into Southern Premier Wrestling it was a tag team with his then friend Michael Maverick. The two men were a stand out tag team until Ellis suffered a debilitating shoulder injury which caused Edison to have to temporarily put his in ring career on hold.
After getting his manager’s license Edison returned managing the Victory Brother’s tag team as Maverick’s star began to rise within the company. After Maverick become the SPW champion Ellis’s jealousy boiled over with him using his manager’s license to represent countless threats to Maverick’s title reign. Edison finally stacked the deck enough to take the title from Maverick after surprisingly being cleared to wrestle buy his father. The shock of his son’s manipulations cause Gibson Ellis to suffer a nervous breakdown leaving Edison in charge of the company and allowing him to exert his wrath on anyone who happened to rub him the wrong way. Over 24 long months Ellis and Maverick struggled over the soul of SPW and perhaps even the soul Edison Ellis himself.
Now forced into an uneasy truce with his now hated rival Ellis recently developed a new scheme to torment Maverick and his allies Victory Solutions an alliance between himself the Victory Brothers and several of Ellis’s managed charges endeavoring in a collective effort to needle Michael Maverick without Edison himself having to be directly involved.

Edison Ellis is a technical wrestler who focuses on quick precise movements and submission holds. He has a strategic approach to his matches often targeting specific body parts to wear down his opponents. Ellis utilizes his speed and agility to outmaneuver his opponents and gain the upper hand.
Ellis also has a brawling side to him and he's not afraid to get rough in the ring. He employs a variety of strikes and high-impact moves to wear down his opponents including powerful slams and suplexes. Ellis is also known for his ability to counter his opponents' moves often turning their attacks against them to gain the advantage.
In addition to his technical and brawling skills Ellis is also a master of mind games. He uses his charisma and intelligence to manipulate his opponents often taunting and mocking them in the ring. He has a knack for getting inside his opponents' heads distracting them and leaving them vulnerable to his attacks. lis is a wrestler who's willing to bend the rules to get ahead using tactics like eye pokes low blows and choking to gain an advantage. He's also known to target specific body parts such as the legs back or neck to weaken his opponents and set them up for his finisher. His charisma and trash-talking also play a big part in his character using his quick wit and sharp tongue to rile up the crowd and his opponents
